With the focus on finding the best price/performance ratio for different CAE applications (mainly CFD and FEM), Gompute has chosen the 9334 CPU to power the bare-metal C6 instances. This dual-socket node will give 64 cores per node, complemented by 384 GB DDR5 memory with 12 memory channels per CPU. All C6 nodes are using Mellanox HDR InfiniBand interconnect.
This set-up will provide outstanding per-core performance and keep a good scalability, avoiding memory-access bottlenecks common in CFD cases thanks to a balanced core-count over available memory channels.
